Webelos advance to Boy Scouts

The cub scouts of Delahanna Pack 97 were recognized for their achievements Monday, April 25, with a crossover ceremony at the Elk Lake High School auditorium. Jonathan Jones II, Cubmaster, and Danette Fuller, committee chair, presided over the ceremony. Cub Scout den leaders included Brittany Miller, Tiger Scout leader; Christina Carter, Tiger Scout assistant leader; and Jonathan Jones, Wolf and Webelo Scout leader. Webelo scouts advancing to Boy Scouts included Blaine Burnett, Justin Ely, Lucas Jones Kohen Kraynak, Clarence Roe, Cayden Stephens, and Dalton Teel. All of these boys received the Arrow of Light.

In addition, Clarence met the requirements for Bobcat and Webelos ranks. Xavier Davis, John Heitsman, Caden Simmers, Devin Lawrence, and Jacob Roe received their Wolf badges. Aidan Horn, Jace Miller, and Connor Stephens all received their Tiger and Bobcat badges. The boy scouts of Troop 154 Elk Lake American Legion welcomed the new scouts and presented them with neckerchiefs and Boy Scout handbooks.

Troop 154 is under the direction of Scoutmaster Jim Borosh. Jonas Fuller recently achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, building a small pavilion for veterans of the Elk Lake American Legion.
Scout Jarrett Tyler will be attending the World Jamboree in Scotland.
