Behind Cuillo Old Forge outscored Montrose 19-6. Haley Pompey had four of the Lady Meteor points.
Pompey scored five more points before halftime but Montrose found itself further behind as Cuillo matched Pompey and the Lady Devils took a 30-15 lead into the second half.
After intermission the Montrose offense came alive and matched Old Forge’s output in the second half. Pompey and Tangi Smith combined for 13 points as each team scored 16 in the third and 10 in the fourth quarter.
Pompey led Montrose with 20 points while Mia Synder posted nine and Smith finished with eight.
Susquehanna recovered from a loss to Scranton Prep on Wednesday to defeat Mountain View 60-29.
The combination of Taylor Huyck and Mackenzie Steele proved too much for the Lady Eagles as each scored 15 points and the Lady Sabers led 42-13 at the half.
Mackenzie Heath added nine points for the winners while Mountain View was paced by Morgan Hammond who finished with 11 points and Regan Cameron who scored 10.
Blue Ridge jumped out to an early lead but couldn’t hold on falling to Lackawanna Trail 44-38.
The Lady Raiders jumped out to 12-7 lead over the visiting Lady Lions but were outscored 26-18 over the next two quarters as Trail took control.
Savanaah Glover and Lily Bleck led Blue Ridge with nine points each.
Elk Lake used a fast start to throttle Forest City 61-35 behind Lily Decker’s 16 points.
Decker scored nine in the opening stanza as the Lady Warriors raced out to a 17-2 lead.
Forest City’s offense came alive in the second quarter but still trailed 30-15 going into intermission.
Elk Lake picked up the intensity in the third quarter outscoring Forest City 17-5 to put the game out of reach.
Along with Decker, Krista Jones had 14 points while Mercedes Zajaczkowski and Megan Johns added seven.
Earlier in the week state-ranked Scranton Prep scored the first 35 points of the game on their way to a 60-18 dismantling of Susquehanna in an exhibition game for each team.
Huyck had eight points and Steele finished with seven to top Susquehanna.
