Montrose Junior Football (MJF) explodes into their fifth season in the Southern Tier Youth Football Conference (STYFC). MJF, looks to have another successful football and cheerleading season.
Participation numbers have soared to over 100 kids in the program. The teams and cheer squads have been practicing hard in preparation for the 2010 Kickoff to be held August 28 at Mullen Memorial Stadium on the Montrose Jr./Sr. High School campus. “C” game begins at 3:30 with “B” and “A” games to follow.
The Meteors football teams will be fighting for a playoff spot in the tough Western Division with a goal of reaching the Super Bowl.
The MJF cheerleaders are perfecting their competition routines with their sights set on gold medals once again.
Montrose Junior Football is a volunteer organization which depends on the dedication of its coaches, parents, and the community to provide a rewarding experience to all of its participants. The 2010 officers are: Charm Giangrieco, President; Russ VanNostrand, Vice President; Sarah Considine, Treasurer; and Wade Robinson, Secretary.
Jeff Fair is the Football Coordinator and Kelly Robinson is the Cheerleading Coordinator.
