PCN to air swimming championships
The state’s top high school swimmers and divers will take to the pool before a statewide audience as the Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN) airs the 2011 PIAA Swimming and Diving Championships from Bucknell University starting Friday, Mar. 18.
Viewers of Blue Ridge Cable Channel 65 (in Tunkhannock) will have the chance to watch Elk Lake’s Adam Phillips compete in the 100 breaststroke while Elk Lake’s Chelsea Karabin will swim in the 50 freestyle.
Aired swimming events include the consolations and finals while diving events include semi finals and finals. The complete schedule, along with replays follows, but please note event lengths may slightly alter these times.

As part of an exclusive agreement with PIAA, the statewide network is able to air a variety of high school championships throughout the fall, winter and spring seasons. For the remainder of the scholastic year, PCN will provide statewide championship coverage of track and field, boys’ volleyball, girls’ spring soccer, baseball, softball and lacrosse.
