The Forest City boys’ volleyball team picked up a 3-1 win over Western Wayne on Thursday after it grabbed a 3-1 victory at home over the Mountain View Eagles on Tuesday evening.
On Thursday, Forest City won the first game 25-17, before falling 25-22 in the second to see the game tied at 1-1.
However, Foerst City posted a 27-25 win in the third game and a 25-23 win in the fourth to take home the victory.
Dylan Walsh had 11 kills and 18 blocks, Dave Cavalieri had 12 kills and six block and Chad Paulin added 11 assists and nine kills to lead Forest City. Mitch Goben had 16 assists.
Against Mountain View, the Foresters got off to a 1-0 start with a 25-14 victory in the first set, before losing 25-15 in the second to make it a 1-1 game.
However, the Foresters would post back-to-back victories, 25-21 and 25-15 to top the Eagles.
Dylan Walsh had 12 kills and 13 blocks and Chad Paulin had 15 assists and five kills to lead the Foresters. Ben Komar had 11 digs and nine points.
For Mountain View, Brad Owens had 15 kills and nine digs, Logan Mack had seven kills and three aces and Nathan Moyer had 26 assists.
Susquehanna

Susquehanna’s boys’ volleyball team picked up a 3-0 win over Elk Lake at Dimock on Thursday night.
The Sabers won the first game 26-24 before posting a 25-19 win in the second game.
Susquehanna then capped off the win with a 26-23 victory in the final game.
Taylor Cundey had 16 kills, two blocks and two dicks while Dave Vales had eight kills and a dig to pace Susquehanna. Alex Price had five kills, four blocks and two dicks while Mike Frye had 31 assists, two blocks and two kills.
Mark Smurkowski had six kills and four blocks and Jared Berg had four kills and four block for the Warriors.
Elk Lake
Elk Lake’s boys’ volleyball team was handed a 3-0 shutout loss from the Lackawanna Trail Lions on the road on Tuesday evening.
Trail kicked the game off with a 25-18 win in the first set, before defeated the Warriors 26-24 in the second.
The Lions then capped off the win with a 25-17 win in the final game. Lyle Sweppenheiser had nine kills and ten digs while Mark Jenkins had six kills and seven digs to keep the Lions undefeated.
For Elk Lake, Mark Smurkowski had eight kills and five aces while Melvin Route chipped in four kills for the Warriors.
Blue Ridge
The Blue Ridge Raider boys’ volleyball team faced a 3-0 loss from Lackawanna Trail at home on Thursday.
The Lions won the first game 25-9, before posting a 25-13 win in the second game and capping off the win with a 25-12 victory in the third game.
Trail also took a 2-0 win in the junior varsity game.
