The Montrose Area girls’ track and field team competed in the 15th annual Cross Invitational at Wilkes-Barre Memorial Stadium on Saturday, notching a 16th place team finish.
Montrose had a finish from Samantha Bennici with a third place in the 800 at 2:29.0 behind Sara Razwilka of Wyoming Area in first at 2:19.6 and Hannah Coffin of Crestwood in second at 2:24.7
The Meteors had six points in the team standings, while Holy Redeemer ran away with the title at 104.5 points.
