FMS shut down by Hawley

The FMS Generals were handed a 19-8 loss from Hawley Post 311 on the road on Thursday evening.

Stephen Miller was the losing pitcher for FMS giving up five earned runs, two walks and four hits while striking out two in two innings on the mound.

The Generals took a 3-0 lead in the top of the fourth, but Hawley came back to post 10 runs over the third and fourth innings, and continued to put runs on the board, while holding the Generals to five runs over the next five innings.

Tanner Holmes doubled and drove in three of the Generals’ runs in the loss while Mike Wakalowski had a hit and an RBI and Vic Rosa had a hit and two RBIs.
