Female sex predator sentenced

JACQUELINE LEWIS

BY STACI WILSON

A Montrose-area woman sexually assaulted two children multiple times over the course of about three years and will now spend the next four to nine years behind bars.

Jacqueline Lewis, 32, was sentenced Thursday to the four to nine years for having involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a seven-year-old female.

She also received a two to four year sentence, which will run concurrent with the other sentence, for sex crimes perpetrated against a juvenile male.

The Scranton Times-Tribune does not identify the victims of sexual assault.

The charges stemmed from separate incidents that occurred in Liberty Twp. from 2005 to 2008.

In Susquehanna County Court Thursday, Lewis stipulated to being a sexually violent predator. She was then sentenced.

According to the affidavit, Lewis, in a Jan. 11, 2010, interview said to police, “A lot of bad things happened.”

It was the female victim who first reported the sexual assault and Lewis was then questioned by police.

It was during that interview that Lewis confessed that she had also had sexual intercourse with the male victim on multiple occasions.

Lewis was also ordered to serve 10 years on special probation followed by her release from prison.
