The Elk Lake golf team was handed a 9-0 shutout loss fromLakelandon Monday afternoon in its first match of the season at Tall Pines Golf Course.
In individual play, Mike Thomas (L) defeated Ricky Guiton, 4 and 3; Mike Brennan (L) downed Jeremy Swartzstrauber, 5 and 3; Fred Tolerico (L) beat Matt Domasawicz, 2 and 1; Jordan Horsky (L) bounced Tim Markbaker, 4 and 3; Taylor Reeves (L) knocked Marshall McCarty, 4 and 3; and Greg Reeves (L) defeated Zach Canfield, 5 and 3.
In better-ball, Thomas-Brennan (L) over Guiton-Swartzstrauber, 5 and 3; Tolerico-Horsky (L) over Domasawicz-Marbaker, 3 and 2; T. Reeves-G. Reeves (L) over McCarty-Canfield, 4 and 3.
