Members of the Susquehanna County Council of Republican Women held their annual Christmas social on Sunday, Dec. 4, at Green Gables inNew Milford.
Acting President Mary Evans was master of ceremonies. Her event committee consisted of Debbie Kissell, Sue Seamans, Donna Cosmello and Cathy Benedict. Also in attendance was vice president Deb Slater.
Senators Lisa Baker and Gene Yaw and State Reps. Sandra Major and Tina Pickett joined the county officials who were able to attend: commissioneer Michael Giangrieco; assistant district attorney Marion O’Malley; treasurer Cathy Benedict; prothonotary Susan Eddleston; coroner Tony Conarton; auditors Holly Bialey and Susan Jennings and jury commissioner Gladys Bennett.
Newly elected commissioner Alan Hall and Magisterial District Judge Jodi Cordner were unable to attend.
CountyChairmanJohn Kameen sent a message that was read by Carolyn Paccio.
Other members of the county committee attending were Lori Conarton and Donna Cosmello.
State committee members Dianne Burman, Tony McAndrew, Cody Hardaugh and David Baloga; past state president Carol Masters and state federation board members, Cosmello, McAndrew, Rose Ann Gatano. All welcomed the ever faithful friends from WayneCounty, Ginger Golden; WyomingCounty, Russ and Pat Gunton; and BradfordCounty, Diane
Elliott.
