3-pointer wins game

Mountain View’s Chad Wescott hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to claim a 39-36 Division IV win over Blue Ridge on Saturday night.

The game – scheduled to be held on the Raider’s home court – was moved to Mountain View due to a power outage at Blue Ridge.

Austin Darrow scored a game-high 23 points for the Raiders.

Wescott hit four three-pointers for the Eagles.

Blue Ridge’s Austin Darrow scored 11 points to lead Blue Ridge to score a 45-36 victory Dec. 30 over Sayre on the Raiders’ home court.

Montrose, 43

The Meteor men fell to the third-ranked Crusaders, 59-43 at Holy Cross.
Cameron Dean led Montrose with 16 points.

Lack. Trail, 51
Susquehanna, 43

Luke Falletta had 12 points for Susquehanna and Josh Wheeler scored 10 but that was not enough to stave off a 51-43 defeat handed to the Sabers by Lackawanna Trail.

Elk Lake, 92,
Forest City, 38

At Elk Lake, Matt Woolcock hit eight 3-pointers and scored 37 points to lead the fifth-ranked Warriors.
Noah Fedak and Matt Nevins both scored 11 points for Forest City.
