Brandon Bruzek, 17, was recently named East Coast Speedway’s Rookie of the Year for 2013. He is a Montrose Area High School student. Speedway is contested on a one-eighth mile dirt track, with no brakes and no gears. The bikes have about 70 horsepower and can go zero-to-60 mph in about three seconds.
