Eagles remain undefeated

The Eagles boys volleyball team remains unbeaten in the Lackawanna League. Mountain View picked up three more wins last week.

At Mountain View Tuesday, Lucas LaRue had 10 kills and six aces and Joe Cerra had six aces and five kills to lead the Eagles, 3-0, over Lackawanna Trail.

Emmet Jodon had 22 assists for the winners.

On Wednesday, LaRue had 13 kills, seven digs and seven aces, with a 3-0 victory over Elk Lake.

Jodon had 24 assists and Keegan Mack added six kills for the Eagles.

LaRue had five digs, 14 kills and seven blocks and Mack had five digs and seven kills to lead Mountain View to a 3-0 win over Blue Ridge in a Lackawanna League match on Friday.

Emmett Jodan had 25 assists for the Eagles.

Ty Herbert had eight kills for Blue Ridge, Austin Darrow had six kills and Dom Rogers had 12 digs.

In other volleyball play action:
The Foresters fell, 3-1 to Abington Heights on Tuesday (April 14). Tyler Trichello had eight assists and five digs for Forest City, Tyler Butler had 20 digs and Noah Fedak had seven assists.

Pat Coles had seven kills for Forest City, Noah Fedak had nine points and eight assists and Tyler Trichilo had five assists in the 3-0 loss to Western Wayne.

Adam Curry had 10 points for Elk Lake and Brody Bushnell had five blocks in the Warriors’ 3-1 loss to Lackawanna Trail.
