Mills competes in Georgia golf summer series

Elk Lake sophomore Taegan Mills completed in the Georgia State Junior Golf Association Summer Series this summer.

Taegan Mills, a sophomore at Elk Lake High School, competed in the Georgia State Junior Golf Association (GSJGA) Summer Series 2018 held at a variety of golf courses across the state of Georgia. 

She participated in the Intermediate 18 Hole, Girls 14-18 age division. 

Competing in five tournaments this summer, Mills finished 1st in the University of Georgia-Athens tournament, 6th in the Horseshoe Bend Country Club tournament, 4th at the Crystal Falls Golf Club, 14th at the Dogwood Golf Club, and 8th in the Regional Championships held at Chateau Elan.  

Mills is excited to be joining her teammates on the newly established Girls Varsity Golf team with Elk Lake Jr. Sr. High School this coming Fall.  

She is the daughter of John and Debbie Mills of Dimock; grand-daughter of Elizabeth and the late Charlie Mills, Dimock, and David and Pat Crandall, Lakeland, Fla.
