Ofalt domination leads Lady Warriors

Elk Lake remained unbeaten with a 87-51 victory over Lackawanna Trail. Lydia Ofalt was dominant once again claiming victory in the 100, 200, and 400-meter races, and the 100 Hurdles.

In the field, Elk Lake swept the events behind Makayla Cole took three events for the Lady Warriors. She won the Shot Put with a throw of 30-3, the Discus at 79-7, and the Javelin at 91-2. Grasyn Bushnell picked up win in both the Long and Triple Jump, and Eliza Bosscher won the High Jump.

Other Lady Warriors picking up wins on the track were Shyanne Bennett in the 1600-meter and the Relay team of Bennett, Eliza, Maddie, and Sadie Bosscher in the 3200.

Montrose slipped past Susquehanna 89-59 as the Lady Meteors won eight of the 11 track events and three field events and clinched a tie for the Division IV race.

Chalice Guyette won the 100-meter and joined teammates Anna Loomis, Caroline Stack, and McKenzie Newhart on the winning 400 Relay team, while teaming with Loomis, Newhart, and Georgia Smith to win the 1600 Relay.

Hannah Perkins won the 1600 and 3200-meter races, Loomis took the 400-meter, and Smith claimed the 800 to gain points for Montrose on the track. Perkins also teamed with Smith, Gabby Davis, and Lindsey Coy to win the 3200 Relay. MacKenzie Rhone won the 100 and 300 Hurdles, and Skyla Wilson added the 200-meter for Susquehanna.

Susquehanna faired well in the Field as Bethany Burns took the Shot Put at 26-4, Kaylin Trynoski won the Discus with a throw of 78-11 ½ and Wilson won the Triple Jump (32-5), and Kendra Colwell won the Pole Vault.  Isabella Gehrin won the Javelin (59-2) for the Lady Meteors and Radville Vaicuilyte won the Long Jump.

Mountain View edged Blue Ridge 68-58 to claim its first victory of the season. Brianna Spriggs paced the Lady Eagles winning the 100 and 200-meters and teaming with Samantha Jones, Abby Wormuth, and Kelsey Murphy to win the 400 Relay.

Mountain View also won the 1600 Relay behind Murphy, Wormuth, Scarlett Catalfamo, and Lily Virbitsky.

Karris Fazzi of Blue Ridge captured the 100 and 300 Hurdles, and 400-meter, while Molly Geyer won the 1600 and 3200-meter. Geyer also found victory in the 3200 as she teamed with Elizabeth Mollo, Alyssa Johnson, and Jessica Spencer. 

Murphy led the way in the Field for Mountain View getting victories Pole Vault and Triple Jump. Jones won the Long Jump and Virbitsky took the High for the Lady Eagles. Annie Bonner won the Shot Put and Discus for Blue Ridge.

Montrose gained another victory as it downed Blue Ridge 99-30 as Vaicuilyte swept all three Jump events and Guyette and Perkins each won two individual races.

Vaicuilyte captured the Long Jump with a jump of 13-9 and won the Triple with a leap of 30-11 ½. She cleard the High Jump at 4-10.

Guyette won 100 and 200-meters and Perkins took the 3200 and 1600 races. Coy dominated the Hurdles winning both the 100 and 300.  Smith added another win at the 800-meter and Loomis took the 400-meter. Montrose took the only Relay run when it won the 400 behind Guyette, Newhart, Loomis, and Stack. Stack also posted a win Pole Vault and Chiava Amato won the Javelin with a throw of 68-8¾.

Bonner picked up two wins for Blue Ridge in the Shot Put (28-0¼) and Discus (71-7½ ).
