Meteor stickgals shutout at Pittston

The Montrose Area varsity field hockey team faced a 6-0 loss at Pittston Area on Wednesday evening.

In the first half, the Patriots scored at 23:41, followed by a scored goal at 11:14 and a third at 9:48 to lead the Meteors 3-0 at the break.

The second half was the same story as Pittston racked up goals at 20:34, then at 5:03 and a final goal with 1:21 remaining to beat the Meteors 6-0.

Montrose took two shots on goal and had two corners while Montrose racked up eight saves on the game.
