Baltzley commits to Bloom

Elk Lake catcher Gabby Baltzley has committed to playing softball in the fall for Bloomsburg University.

Baltzley, 17, helped Elk Lake to a 16-1 season in 2010 behind the plate, and was a part of the District II champion 2009 Elk Lake team.

In her career at Elk Lake, Baltzley boasts a .413 batting average with a .604 slugging percentage with 48 hits including eight doubles, four triples and two home runs. She also has 36 career RBIs.
