Elk Lake cross country coach Will Squier has been named the 2010 Scranton Times-Tribune Coach of the Year in cross country.
“I love coaching,” Squier said. “Sure it has its ups and downs. But it is so satisfying for me to be able to have a program where other people can come in and realize success.
“I like orchestrating and administering those things. My heart yearns for these kids to be able to have that opportunity and synchronize everybody hitting it on the same day so they can maximize their potential.”
