Mary Emmett has been elected as president of Forest City Regional School District’s board of education.
The board selected her for the position at its reorganizational meeting Wednesday night. School Director William Kubus will continue as board vice president.
The board will next meet Monday, Jan. 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the high school library.
