Bullock appointed jury commissioner

BY STACI WILSON

President Judge Kenneth Seamans administered the oath of office to Charles R. Bullock on Friday morning.

Bullock, a Democrat, was appointed to serve as a jury commissioner for the remainder of the elected term which lapses at the end of this year.

He replaces Bob Chamberlain, who recently resigned from the position.

Bullock will serve out the remainder Chamberlain’s term alongside Republican jury commissioner Gladys Bennett.

In Oct. 2012, the Susquehanna County Commissioners moved by resolution to abolish the elected position of jury commissioner.
