Christmas in Montrose kicks off Thursday, Dec. 1, with pop-up stores and many other businesses with extended hours.
The Montrose Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to bring this wonderful, family-friendly event to the town again for its fifth year.
All your favorite church bazaars and craft fairs return this again year, as well as many other fun and free events.
A few of our most popular events include two FREE showings of a Christmas movie classic at the Montrose Theatre, FREE photos with Santa at the Library, and a Vendor Fair at the Green, where we’ll also be selling Christmas trees!
Many of our local area boutique stores in town will have crafts, hot cocoa, cookies and other goodies in their stores, so make sure you stop in!
We’ll also have a pop-up shop with multiple vendors at 40 Church Street (the former Ruthann’s Bridal location).
We would like to thank this year’s major sponsors, who helped make this event possible. Our Event Sponsor: Williams; Our Holly Sponsors: Cabot Oil & Gas, Visions Federal Credit Union; The Mistletoe Sponsors: The Montrose Restoration Committee, JHA Companies, WPEL, Chief Oil & Gas, Montrose Movie Theatre, Seneca’s Bridal & Dress Boutique, Coldwell Banker Town & Country Properties.
Christmas in Montrose was founded in 2011 in Montrose, Pennsylvania. The weekend of events is designed to highlight the town of Montrose and the variety of activities and shopping it offers. We invite you to bring your friends and family into town for an action-packed weekend featuring events such as free children’s movies, shopping at local church bazaars, live music, and much more!
