Service, community and volunteer groups invited to submit info for annual directory

The Susquehanna County Independent is putting together the annual Community Directory which will be published Wednesday, July 18.

Last year’s Community Directory focused on emergency services in the county. This year, we would like to focus on local service clubs, business and community organizations and volunteer groups that work to improve and enhance Susquehanna County.

We recognize that many clubs and organizations are looking to improve community involvement and grow membership and participation. To that end, we are offering local organizations an opportunity to tell readers more about your group in the 2018 edition of the Community Directory.

To include your club, organization or volunteer group in the publication, please email the following information to indynews@independentweekender.com, and include “Community Directory” in the subject line:

*Mailing address

*Meeting days, times and location

*Contact information (email, phone, website, Facebook page)

*Brief description of group

*Community activities and/or events sponsored or supported

*Photo (please send as a jpg attachment)
