Elk Lake victorious in pool

Elk Lake captured a pair of wins in a road pool trip to Scranton.

The Elk Lake girls defeated Scranton 123-45 as Reese Warriner and Megan Bosscher each came away with a pair of individual wins.

Warriner claimed victory in the 200-yard intermediate and the 100-yard freestyle.

Bosscher was successful in capturing both the 100-yard fly and the 100-yard breaststroke.

They were joined on the winners stand by Brenna Decker who won the 200-yard freestyle, Jessica Noldy in the 100-yard backstroke, and Dalia Ofalt who won the diving competition.

The Lady Warriors dominated the relay races as Warriner and Bosscher teamed with Decker and Erin Voda to win the 200-yard freestyle relay.

Voda and Noldy won a second relay as they combined with Sam Hunsinger and Claire Wood to take the 400-yard freestyle.

  Elk Lake also won the 200-yard medley relay as Ofalt teamed with Anna Comly, Cadence DeGregory, and Alyssa Dovin.

The Elk Lake Boys Swimming defeated Scranton 100-58 behind two individual victories from Zachary Grovesnor.

Grovesnor won the 200- and 500-yard freestyle races and combined with Kevin Noldy, Noah Staff, and Mario Mallo to win the 200-yard freestyle relay.

He had a second relay win when he joined Quinn Grovesnor, Jackson Lincoln, and Zachary Shields to capture the 400-yard freestyle.

The Warriors also had individuals wins from Mallo in the 200-yard intermediate Staff in the 100-yard freestyle.

Noldy earned a win in the 100-yard backstroke while Shields captured the 100-yard breaststroke.
