The Little White Community Church at Heart Lake, Route 706, will hold an indoor yard sale, Friday, July 2, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and Saturday, July 3, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Something for everyone.
Holiday happenings at Salt Springs Park
Events are scheduled throughout the day on Saturday, July 3, at Salt Springs Park, Franklin Twp.
Event include: Quilt Show, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; pie sale, 1 p.m.; 50/50 raffle; White elephant sale, 1-5 p.m.; All-American Music, 7 p.m., Salt Springs Park, Franklin Forks. Independence Day Celebration
Thompson Hose Company will hold an Independence Day celebration on Saturday, July 3, with a chicken barbecue at 11 a.m., and parade starting at 11:30 a.m. There will be music all day and fireworks at 10 p.m.
The rain date for fireworks is July 4 at 10 p.m., with festivities starting at 6 p.m.
July 4th fireworks in Montrose
The Montrose Area Chamber of Commerce announces the Independence Day fireworks display will take place on Sunday, July 4, at dusk, with prime viewing and parking available at the Montrose Area Jr-Sr High School.
In addition to MACC, the fireworks display is made possible by corporate sponsors Pump N Pantry and Price Chopper, as well as community donations.

Independence Day Celebration, July 5
Independence Day Celebration in Montrose, hosted by Montrose Kiwanis and Lions Clubs, will be held Monday, July 5.
