The Susquehanna County 9-10 Little League Allstars defeated Tunkhannock in the finals to win the District 15 Joe Shaw Memorial Tournament.
The team played under the lights in Athens on Thursday, July 13, with a final score of 13-12. The teams were tied 10-10 after six innings and battled back and forth for three additional innings.
At the bottom of the ninth inning, with the score 12-12 and two outs, Dawson Sherman stole home to win the game.
The team is coached by Jamie Orlandini, Reuben Sherman and Alan Felker.
This marks the second year in a row that Susquehanna County 9-10 Allstars have won the Joe Shaw Memorial championship title.
