2020 Holiday Parade of Lights

United Fire Company, Montrose, hosted its annual Holiday Parade of Lights on Saturday, Nov. 28, featuring a line up of emergency vehicles and community floats.

Parade winners included:

First place, overall: Hallstead Fire Company.

Community Floats: First place – Rosemont Inn Bed & Breakfast/MSE; Second place – Montrose Area High School Key Club; Third place – Masters Concrete.

Emergency Vehicles: First place – Hallstead Fire; Second place – Hop Bottom Fire; Third place – Montrose Minute Men.

Spectators were encouraged to watch from their vehicles or from their home, if located along the parade route.

Following the parade, Santa helped in a drive-by distribution of early Christmas presents to children at the firehall. Kids were also encouraged to leave their letters to Santa in an official North Pole mailbox.
