The Gibson Township polling location is returning to the Gibson Township Building for the General Primary on April 28.
The move was approved by the Susquehanna County Board of Elections at a meeting held Jan. 8, per the request of the township supervisors and Susquehanna County Director of Elections/ Voter Registrar Macy Rudock, and upon the inspection of the site by the Voter Registration Office.
The Pennsylvania Dept. of State lists the following election-related dates pertaining to the General Primary:
April 13: Last day to register to vote before the Primary;
April 21: Last day to apply for a mail-in absentee ballot;
April 28: Last day for County Board of Election to receive voted mail-in and civilian absentee ballots. Must be received by 8 p.m.
April 28: General Primary
April 29: First day to register after the Primary
May 5: Last day for County Board of Election to receive voted military and overseas absentee ballots. Ballots must be submitted for delivery no later than 11:59 p.m. on April 27.
