Lady Meteors rally for win

Montrose never led until the game’s final seconds, rallying on a goal by Maddie Gilhool with 34 seconds left to edge rival Mountain View, 4-3, in Lackawanna League Division III girls soccer Thursday.
Gilhool’s score was her third of the game, the first two erasing one-goal deficits in the first half.
Lucy Adams nailed a direct kick, her second goal of the game, to give Mountain View its final lead, 3-2, 11 minutes into the second half.
At Elk Lake, Grasyn Bushnell had a hat trick and Amanda Mowry added a pair of goals to lift Elk Lake in Division IV.
Alex Artone scored twice and assisted on Carbondale’s other goal.
Sam Calachino scored three goals and Abbey Stalter had two to lead Lakeland to a 9-0 win over Forest City in a Lackawanna League Division III-IV crossover Tuesday.
