United Fire Company, Montrose, responded to a fire Sunday night at the Andre & Sons Fertilizer Plant, located on Route 706, Bridgewater Twp. Upon entering the building, firefighters reportedly found a fire burning in a pile of product as well as the wall around it. The fire was quickly extinguished. Fire companies from Clifford and Hop Bottom also assisted at the scene, and Rush Vol. Fire Dept. was placed on stand-by at the Montrose station. PHOTO COURTESY UNITED FIRE CO.
